Chapter 5... what a cliffhanger. :-D

So  I bought it, why do I only have chapter one and not the rest of it?

Paid the full $10 ? if so scroll up hit the download button next to where it says that you purchased the game for $10 you'll have three download options choose the third one that says 0.5.1b

How do you get this to work on Android?

(+1)

By chance is the steam version  going to get an update  anytime soon ?

(1 edit)

Book 1 consists chapter 1-4 i have just found out. Book 2 will be released with 5-8. :) I cant wait so patreon it is now haha.

Has the Dev come out with how many chapters Artemis will be? If it's finished yet and all that.

(+1)

Digging the Lexi cameo. Good stuff!

can you remind me of the game where lexi is from?

(+2)

Leap Of Faith

(1 edit)

That game was really good!

I was playing that for most of it's development, right up until the end! :-)

(+1)

how do I download and play after purchase? first game on this platform .

Just a heads up that the 0.5.1b build didn't run on my macOS Monterey. I had to put it into Ren'Py and create a new Mac build before it would go. NOT complaining, mind you. It was a great release and, man, Artemis herself is just incredibly written as a character. I just love what you do.

(1 edit) (+2)

For anyone wanting to know how to do this, you have to download the Ren'Py Visual novel engine here Then once you have that running click to create a new project in an empty folder. Then copy the folders game, lib and renpy from the Zip folder you downloaded from this site into this empty folder. Then click Launch Project in the Ren'Py engine and it should launch Artemis.

Bought it but saying I need a dycrpt key?? Where to go?

(+3)

pls upload that somewhere else than Mega

Agreed. A file this large and Mega puts a cap on downloads unless you want to spend money for their subscription service.

(+2)

Glad to see you back at it man. I'm really really happy to see an update for this game. Hope that releases will be more regular now that you're on the mend.

(+1)

So great to see ou back in action! The new chapter was great, the interaction with the "new girl" is VERy endearing. Love everything about the chapter! Keep up the good work :-)

(1 edit) (+1)

Ive been waiting so long for the next chapter. thank you so much!
edit: The Fifth Element joke...Im dying!

I almost fell out of my chair with that joke too!

(+3)

Chapter 5 was just released on patreon

(-1)

what tier tho?

(+2)

anyway to get discord/download for people who purchased the game? or steam key?

(+1)

I hope you don't switch to Steam completely because in my country adult games like this get blocked and there is no way to access them

Ditto!

(+1)(-1)

God bless America

VPN? would that help?

(+1)

Hi, I bought this great game here on Itch, but want it on Steam now. Is there a key to get?

Thanks.

Hey man, Its been a while since C4 released on PC and theres still no MAC version. Could it be possible to get a refund?

(1 edit) (+1)

don't know if the game it's still going on, but i bought it on steam and i really like the story and the girls are very very pretty; i honestly hope this game continue it's development, i know the eyesight problem of the dev, but it would be nice to see it ending at some point

(+2)

its still going

(+5)(-3)

soon been 1 year since last episode. Way to long time. love the game, but this is draging out

If i purchased the game here do i need to buy it again on steam to get any further updates?

(-1)

Any chance of non-3rd party files in the works? This game looks like it'd be good, but I want it on my Steam Deck.

(+1)

It's a ren'py game, so should be possible. I googled 'ren'py on steam deck?' and got several results. Have fun tinkering!

It isn't ren'py that's the issue. It it downloading the files from a 3rd party that is the issue. That's what the itch app says when i try to install it, and that the 3rd party site is incompatible.

(+2)

That just means you can't install it through the Itch app. It's not a steam deck issue. Just means you need to go to the game's itch website manually and download it from there instead of through the app.

(+2)

I finally got it to work, though. I tried downloading it on both Chrome and Firefox in the past and kept getting a weird browser file limit error. I just tried again via chrome and was able to download it, unzip it, and add it as a non-steam game. So not sure what changed, but I'm not complaining. I'll just use the site instead of the app for the Mega downloads now.

Probably best at this point. I've noticed the app's starting to accumulate small bugs and inconsistencies here-and-there.

Well, more than usual.

That and the file size limit/monetization for adult games (Donations as well as sales) in general on itch.io, I think, are starting to be more of a hassle than it's worth.

I've been seeing more transitions from this to other platforms lately because of it. Also, unfortunately, I've seen a few (sometimes more) Devs abandoning games altogether because of it.

Kinda makes me feel like:

except replacing Lag with itch.io's behavior lately.

(+1)(-1)

is Cassie based on Alexandria Daddario? They look so similar lol

also we need more Meghan scenes please, she’s the best looking girl imo

(+1)(-1)

Since all of book one is on Steam, I'm taking it as a more stable way to support digi_b. Just throwin that out here.

The way itch has been changing lately, I'm seeing this as a way to make sure the dev actually gets the money. Yeah, Valve (Steam) probably has some type of fees for hosting the game, but I believe it also reaches more people than itch does, so the profit kinda evens out...if not rise (heh ;p).

And well, at this point, I trust Steam 1st, Patreon 2nd...and Paypal (when things don't bug-out) 3rd.

(+1)

really a great one bruh, waiting for the new chapter.

Fkn love Paige!!!!!!!!!!

(+1)

Any chance of this getting an android port?

(+7)

Now that the first 4 chapters are listed as "Book One" on Steam; for those of us who've purchased here, will we be getting a chapter 5 update at Itch in the near future? Will there be a "Book Two" (including an additional 4 chapters) only release once it is ready?

I know many would appreciate some feedback as to what the future holds here at Itch for this game. Or even just in general. Are we in for a long haul wait for a "Book Two" release? If so, will it be considered an additional DLC purchase? Will it be on Steam only? Game is really good. I won't complain about supporting it financially for an additional DLC  if required (though I would have liked to have been made aware of this before purchasing the first few chapters). Would just like to know where this is heading ...

I just finished 0.1.2 on Mac and really enjoyed the story. So, I bought 0.4.1a. Would appreciate future builds for Mac, though. It's easier to not have to stuff this in Ren'Py to build my own Mac app.

(1 edit)

If you like AVNs with a harem setting and Male protagonist this is a great game for you. Soooo much content and quality graphics. You get the adult action and a compelling, emotional story. I paid to support digi_b and I cannot wait to see how this story continues.

Plus really cool tie-ins to Leap of Faith and Chasing Sunsets.

Decided to give it a whirl, and enjoyed 0.1.2 to the point where i had to go and give digi_b the support. It's well put together, and you can tell digi_b is aiming for quality over quantity, which im fine with.

are we getting steam keys or no?

(1 edit)

did cass got a new face model?

Artemis Book One is on Steam. Is that more than 0.4.1a?

It says books one through four in the about section on steam.

(3 edits)

So for us purchasers on Itch, 0.4.1 IS book 1 on steam with 4 chapters! But on Itch it's just called 0.4.1, Mmm! I hope this doesn't mean Itch customers have to wait for the whole of book 2 to be finished before it's released, like on Steam!

(+1)

given itch changed their policy, it's entirely possible, we won't get anything here, going forward.  at least 1 other vn is no longer available for new purchase, because of the itch policy change(away from allowing adult content).  IF digi_b can continue to provide updates here, they likely will continue the same way they've been done up til now, unless and until digi_b says otherwise.  steam is a different platform and likely will be handled the way they want things handled.  this one, the ball appears to be in itch.io's court, and it's up to them to decide how far they will be pushing their policy.

Well, Digi_B must know who has bought the game. So either give them a Steam Key, or email them individually with a download link where they can download the next update. Now he has it on sale on Steam, he can't make it a free game, which gets around the Itch deal!

the only way digi_b can just give previous buyers a steam key is if that was negotiated with steam, prior to it being added.  it's highly unlikely they'd accept the idea of "giving away" that many keys, right after steam launch.  but, again, that's between digi_b and steam, and whatever they agreed to.  and from what i read on the other page, making the game free wouldn't be enough for itch's new policy.

i downt loaded it and then when i tried playing it all i got was.

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

Same thing for me. Is there any way to fix this?

INCREDIBLE!

Is there a paid option for the most complete version for Mac yet?

(+1)

This is my favourtie VN for sure, great story and characters, great work!! 10/10

(+3)

Loved this game, sadly super underrated I would put this one on the podio next to Eternum and being a dik, develloper deserves a lot more!
The facial expressions and humor are on point, carisma of the characters as well, cant wait to see what is comming!

Downloaded 0.4.1a, when I open the application it gets stuck on "initializing" and crashes.

(+3)

Absolutely love this game, why is it so quiet?

(+2)(-1)

I wondered about the same thing and got a somewhat angry response (not by the develloper) that it's still going on, as the news come when chapters drop and chapters take on average 6 months to make, so hang in here with us, it's coming.

i think people realize how long it takes to develop a good story and are trying to be patient.  too many comments, too often, tends to create some stress and i know, personally, i'd rather wait 10 months for a really good, to great, chapter, than have it in 5 months, and have it not hold up to what's gone before.  let digi_b have the time to do the job right and enjoy it when it arrives.  you can always play the first 4 chapters over again, and follow the different paths available, if you didn't, while playing through it the first time, using multiple saves.  it's worth seeing the divergent paths and what they bring

(-1)

Ch5 seem to be in development based on the Patreon posts. I also can't wait for an update here on itch... been really quiet for over two years now. :3 0.1.2 came out march 2021 according to the dates above
