He's down in the dumps. Everyone goes there from time to time. That is one aspect of this VN that makes it relatable. He isn't necessarily a whiner, and he does get his groove back. He is actually an enjoyable character with flaws but also strengths. Unless all you are looking for is some young stud constantly involved in sex scenes, I am quite sure you will find the entertainment and merit in this excellent VN.
Hmmm well what you expect me to expect in avn is actually a fantasy of many but really doesn't exist or maybe i don't got any such avn till now barring 1,2 which become shit recently, so even if i would love to expect what you think i would, i actually don't anymore, since that's bigger fanatsy to have then having a harem in current era in real life.

so, let me see if i can explain this, without having crayons to draw you a picture. here's the story, up to the point at which the vn begins. a boy and a girl meet, when they are 13 or 14 years old. they are together until they are 24(that's basically half their lives, and most of their relationship-formative years). during that time together, boy's mother dies overseas, serving in the marines(when he's 18). boy and girl spend their time working on something that stands to make them very rich, together. when the relationship ends, it ends because the gf steals his future(their joint work in AI) AND dumps him, all on the day before they are to sign on with a tech company, that is going to pay them a ton of money for their work, and hire them on to continue it. cheap, sore loser? this guy has NOBODY in his life, except this girl, at the point she steals everything from him and leaves him. that, alone, will send the strongest person into the depths of depression, leading to a whole lot of bad things. the fact you don't understand this concept only proves you've never actually been IN a relationship with a girl, at all. never mind been in a relationship with someone, with whom you've built a future, only to have them take both the future and themselves away. the guy spent 3 years with basically nothing. of course he's going to struggle rebuilding his life. and if you think this game is loaded with sex scenes and odd behaviors, you are seriously mistaken there, too. try an avn like being a dik and you'll see one where sex is seemingly around every turn. but in the end, if you don't want to see that in your vn's, don't partake of avn's, as that's what makes them Avn's and not just vn's. the vast majority of places you can find these, it tells you if they contain nudity and sexual activity. if they do, don't pursue them. just that simple. and far better than whining about having been warned, yet still buying the vn, anyway.
it is on steam to where you can wishlist it, but is not available for purchase, yet. that may be awaiting completion, or at least a couple more chapters being finished. just depends on how and when digi-b wants to upload it to steam, for release there. it's likely just waiting on reaching a certain point of completion, so there are fewer DLC chapters to add, and possibly on the ability to reach an agreeable deal with steam/valve, for pricing and such.
Well, I am also on linux (pop os) I just copy the .sh file from the demo to the new chapter. Then, when an error appear, it tells me which file I need to copy and where from the demo. I did that since linux support stopped. i just hope the dev does not change renpy version. xD
I don't know. I did not exchange words with the dev so I am not sure if it is because it cause problem on his end or he is not aware there are Artemis linux players.
I just hope I can continue to paste over the renpy files for linux and that it will still work in the futur.
Are you connected in anyway with the game "Leap of Faith"? I see the MC has the same face as the MC in that game, and now, the MC is staying at DJKink's house, another character in that same game!! And even Lexi was mentioned too! Lastly, can I say, your animations are superb! When a character is eating it looks like it, plus you have twice as many animations, both facial and arms, of any AVN I have played, making the characters look more realistic than any other AVN!
EDIT: Loving the game so far, but as it's $10 for 0.4.1, will it be another $10 for 0.5.1, and so on? I will wait and see if you don't tell me....
I have finished the 2 chapters, and the story is so good, along with excellent world building and charactizations, I am thinking more and more to just wait for the final game, and ply it from start to finish, it's that good to me! I hope you put this game on Steam and GOG, as more people deserve to know about it, because it's up there with Leap of Faith, Love Magic, Being a DiK and all the other huge selling classics!
No. Developers sometimes uses cameo from different games that they use in other games. They are not the same developer, they all may have contacted each other for usage of other characters in games.
You don't pay more for new updates for this game once you bought let say 4.1a now when other version releases you just go to your purchase library to download new versions. I know some developer tries to charge money for each new updates so far digi_b does not do this, I bought this game when it was version 3.1 and when version 4.1 was released I just download the new version in my purchased games library.
I also play on linux. When the .sh and ./lib/linux-x86_64/* are missing I copy them over from a previous version of the game or sometimes try to copy them from other games entirely. But when it is from a previous version of the game I feel like things have better chances of going smootly.
I'd like a native support for linux, but I don't complain because the work around is simple.
That remind me of a previous post about the .sh not being executable right after extraction and being complicated to make it so under windows.

It was already up there with Once in a Lifetime and Eternum after chapter 3..... but after chapter 4 I'd say it surpassed them. And those Mass Effect "We'll Bang, okay" references at the Halloween Party.... the cherry on top . I do wish it had just a bit more sex scenes/options, but everything else is so top notch, it doesn't even matter
Download the RenPy SDK (the demo was built against 7.4.4, so probably any 7.x version should work), drag the PC version into the same folder as the RenPy app, and run the RenPy app. You should then be able to select the game from the resulting list of games and run it.

Love the story, great visuals, LOVE the humour - the looks they sometimes give you, or each other, just brilliant! If I wasn't living on the bare minimum of income due to early retirement/bad health, I'd seriously support the dev on Patreon - there's not many games I'd do that for - but this guy REALLY deserves support - this right here is a quality product. Not sure if he's a native english speaker, a lot of the game devs aren't, but the dialogue is very nearly spot on! Often in games you can tell the devs aren't native speakers, but this is damn near perfect. Kudos if he's not.

I'd love a harem ending as an option, simply because I have a hard time choosing which girl to go with - they all have their own appeal, and are special in their own way. Story seems to jump/jolt now and again, it'd be nice to see it flow more - what I mean is you're in a scene, and suddenly you're somewhere completely different and it's like, huh, did I just miss something? And you end up scrolling back to see if indeed to did skip over something. But I'm picking nits at the highest level here - there's really not much to complain about. Buy it, enjoy it!

Then they remodeled her face into something more generic and didn't do anything interesting with her heritage. A loss and a pity. Hope devs get more ballsy in the future updates/projects and try more diverse looks, bodies and complexions. XOXO

So let me say that not every erotic visual novel actually gets me to play the entire thing and experience the whole story. Sometimes it just doesn't attract me and I will just click through it to the horny stuff.
This game however, got me to play through everything; which made my gameplay go for about six hours maybe more? I didn't really keep a close eye.
Then onto the characters. First of all let me say every single girl in this game has something that makes her unique and awesome. They all have their own distinct personality and I won't spoil anything really but I absolutely love that you included a tomboy. We don't really see them very often, and Zelda is also perhaps my favorite character period. I just love her.
However to be completely honest I love every single one of the girls, they are all wonderful.
My only two complaints for this game, are as follows: 1) It's not fully released already, I need more. 2) That you don't spend more time with the other girls. A LOT of time is spent with Kindera and June, and it definitely is understandable story wise. However I do want to continue exploring and learning the other girls even more.

finished the latest update, and, well, GODDAMN! All of my previous laudation continues to apply. I get lost in the story, love and despise characters, and maintain a healthy bit of yearning.
When the protagonist gets with the romantic or close friend characters, I want you to take more time—slow role the camera view over the scene, across the bodies, and build up the romance. That’s all I could advise.
Don’t rush a damned thing! Keep up the great work, and we all will just be Patient.
I found it I just normally play on my laptop but download on my phone as im a trucker and have very limited Hotspot so tend to DL the pc version on my phone and transfer the folder over.
Can we get an alternative download site? I just paid 10 and I cant even try to download it without getting the megadrive app because I use firefox apparently

Side note: never, ever in a million years download jdownloader as it will not make you wait an unlawful amount of time to download mega links. It is an absolutely terrible application that shouldn't be installed under any circumstances.

I would imagine it's going to be quite a while. Each Chapter seemed to be quite large and took a long time before you got to the next Chapter!
